WC Writing Community
Write – Share – Improve
As writers, we want to know our writing matters… We want people to enjoy our stories and poems, to take something from them, and to be moved by our words. We want our writing to be noteworthy. We also all realise that we can only improve through practice. In order to take our writing to the next level, we need feedback. Feedback is essential to growth and development and in order to achieve growth and development, we need a stable and supportive community backing the process.
It’s within ourselves, and with the help of others, we find the strength to grow, first as people, and then as writers. All of this, and more happens within the Writer’s Carnival community on a regular basis. Our members are there for each other. Really there. They celebrate the advances together and talk each other through the tough times. Writer’s Carnival community members provide genuine feedback to one another. They take the time to be real. If you don’t believe it, take a look around. The site is filled with warm welcomes, thoughtful reviews and sincere friendships. At Writer’s Carnival, everyone matters.
How does being part of a writing community help you? Because you can be a part of it. You can choose to take your writing to the next level by being an active part of something beautiful. Something that will help you grow as a writer, and something that will help take the steps you need to turn your dreams into reality. We will be there for you every inch of the way, through the good times and the bad. We will help do the heavy lifting by providing you with the resources you need which will allow you more time and energy to focus on what really matters… your writing. A lot can be gained from the numerous free events and challenges. There are prizes to be won, friendly competition to be had, and fond memories to be made.
Without spending a dime, you can experience the true atmosphere of the community and learn a lot of different things. You can participate in Power Hours, Bust Out Your Blog, try your hand at the Wednesday Weekly challenges, and join in on the Group Discussions. All of this is included in the free account because we care about the people who join our site and we want to show that by giving back as much as we can.
If you would like to take it one step further, you can upgrade your account for as little as $4.60 per month and experience all of the writing community perks. That’s less than you would pay for a cup of coffee, and yet priceless in comparison to the amount you would gain. It’s an incredible deal and with it, you’ll be able to post your work for detailed feedback, enter contests, and submit to A Long Story Short & Color On! Magazine –our in-house eZines– for paid publication opportunities.
Through the community, you will become more confident in your abilities as a writer, be part of a social network exclusively designed and dedicated to writers, and will learn how to hone your skills and express yourself through the written word. If you take it seriously, you’ll get back what you put in and you’ll gain genuine friendships in the process, and that’s a guarantee. If you decide to upgrade, you will receive a one-week trial period where, if you are not happy with your purchase, you can cancel your subscription and receive a full refund with no questions asked. We truly believe you’ll love this writing community if you decide to give it a chance.
We have been listed in the Writer’s Digest 101 Best Websites for Writers, The Write Life’s 100 Best Websites for Writers and on the resource page of Writers Helping Writers, which was quite the honor!
If you have any questions, please feel free to send us an email at email@example.com We would also encourage you to leave your thoughts on your experience with the community so far. If you like it, dislike it, what you think we can do to better serve you, or what you think might help other writers who are new to the site. We love hearing from you. So, please, don’t be afraid to contact us.
Be part of something bigger… Be part of a community!
