The possums climbed down and sat next to us
Like passengers together stuck on a bus
I need to feed them right away
Or else on my roof they will play
So off to the fridge to find them a treat
Mother possum grabbed the first piece
They scoffed it down they love to eat
Then off into the night I get my peace
