Morning

From bridges and benches and rocks galore
Families and friends and we who are alone
We watch as the pond takes on life once more
We share the vision it is ours to own

Morning sounds grow to fulfil nature’s law
The birds and the people we make life known
The breeze freshens now to caress the leaves
The morning joined by the sound of the trees
