Last Autumn Together

Last Autumn Together

Remember French fries and cokes?

Ketchup plopping out of the bottle,

a sticky mess I wiped

off your bedizened blouse.

October sunshine dazzled the table.

Outside, we laughed.

Inside a wrought iron fence

your tombstone leans.

Dying ferns and leaves

endow funeral draperies.

A simple clear read. They say simple has power and it does here. Probably not a nit but …
Bedizend? Not a word I recognise but then i am from the Uk.
