.
NOTICE:
All decisions are final.  Prize money will be paid via PayPal. You must be an upgraded Writer’s Carnival member to enter.  Stories will be judged on aspects of storytelling, so be sure to submit a polished piece.  We will mainly be looking at content and character connection, though.  So more than editing, you need to focus on telling an amazing story that we won’t want to stop reading from the first word to the last.

*IMPORTANT* There has to be 10 entries in order for the contest to move to the judging phase.  If, for some reason, you would like to pull your entry you need to do that from the Dashboard AT LEAST fourty-eight hours BEFORE we announce the winners on June 30th, 2016. Please also use the Contact Us page to let us know that you’ve withdrawn your entry.

Can we enter a story in the “posts for review” and then also enter same story for a contest? Can we have more than one entry in each category; like 2 poems and 2 short stories? Just want to make sure I’m doing it correctly. Thanks!

I have a question…If the contest’s word limit is 2000 but we’re only allowed a 1500 word limit, how does that work? Do we use two posts? I don’t get it..

says:

hmm. that’s probably me. I’ll up the limit.
