Autumn’s Child

Her cheeks

are Macintosh apples.

She has corn silk hair,

eyes green as leaves.

A bright orange dress

with a backdrop

of blue sky

and lemon sun.

Purple lips

draw up

in a pumpkin smile.

Author Notes

This is what I imagine a child of Autumn would look like.
