Scarlet and green the canopy above
Protection and shade for the brush below
Ants climb the branches they push and they shove
They climb further up for what I don’t know
Petals fall slowly the majestic dance
Their journey to the ground is not by chance
Autumn is here she is having her way
As the trees become bare day after day
