Autumn Morning

small stream chatters
in the quiet of a still morn
cascades along it’s way

the final destination
rushes around the rocks
enters the pond

reflections in the water
man made and natural
together creating beauty

trees adorned in colour
natures glory on display
beginning of the day

fresh and clean
shrubs bathed in dew
a site to share

bathed in shadow
this forest floor
life speaks here

carpet of gold
below it’s former host
fleeting this beauty

natures tinsel
lichen adorns a dying tree
a last hurrah

Good afternoon, Craig

Loved the various images. It’s as if you’re describing a garden of Eden. Every line a scene unto itself. Enjoyed.

Take care and stay safe,

Craig Lincoln

Cheers Ray much appreciated this walk was around the lake in the middle of the park I started where the stream enters and finished along the last path on the other side of the gardens.
