Alice in Wonderland

I recently read Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol again. It had been years and years since I’d read it the first time, but just as fun and whimsical the second time around. Of course, there are a lot of life lessons in it, too, and told in an engaging way.

There have been a lot of spinoff’s since it came into the public domain. Actually, the reason I read it again, in truth, was because I was working on an Absur’D coloring book with a Wonderland theme. I wanted a refresher of the original story. The cover of the coloring book I released is to the right.

The poem in the beginning of this classic novel still remains one of my favorites to this day. It’s interesting to think about the world Lewis Carroll was living in when he wrote Alice in Wonderland. It would have been so much different than how we’re living today.
