A View of Wind

Trees bend and sway pushed by the breeze
Leaves take flight as if it was planned
Time to hide for the birds and the bees
The wind it blows across the land

The dust whipped up from off the ground
I wipe it off my clothes by hand
And watch it settle all around
The wind it blows across the land

The rustling leaves they sing to me
One part of natures mighty band
The dancing trees a sight to see
The wind it blows across the land

Author Notes

The last of my French poems with the line " The wind it blows across the land" this time a Kyrielle
